וַאֲדֹנִיָּ֧ה בֶן־חַגִּ֛ית מִתְנַשֵּׂ֥א לֵאמֹ֖ר אֲנִ֣י אֶמְלֹ֑ךְ וַיַּ֣עַשׂ ל֗וֹ רֶ֚כֶב וּפָ֣רָשִׁ֔ים וַחֲמִשִּׁ֥ים אִ֖ישׁ רָצִ֥ים לְפָנָֽיו׃
Nun erhob sich Adonija, der Sohn Haggiths, und sprach: 'Ich werde König sein';; und er bereitete ihm Streitwagen und Reiter und fünfzig Männer vor, um vor ihm zu rennen.
