וּלְאֶבְיָתָ֨ר הַכֹּהֵ֜ן אָמַ֣ר הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ עֲנָתֹת֙ לֵ֣ךְ עַל־שָׂדֶ֔יךָ כִּ֛י אִ֥ישׁ מָ֖וֶת אָ֑תָּה וּבַיּ֨וֹם הַזֶּ֜ה לֹ֣א אֲמִיתֶ֗ךָ כִּֽי־נָשָׂ֜אתָ אֶת־אֲר֨וֹן אֲדֹנָ֤י יְהֹוִה֙ לִפְנֵי֙ דָּוִ֣ד אָבִ֔י וְכִ֣י הִתְעַנִּ֔יתָ בְּכֹ֥ל אֲשֶֽׁר־הִתְעַנָּ֖ה אָבִֽי׃
Und zu Abjathar sprach der Priester den König: 'Bring dich nach Anathoth, auf deine eigenen Felder; denn du verdienst den Tod; aber ich werde dich zu diesem Zeitpunkt nicht töten, weil du die Lade des Herrn GOTTES vor David, meinem Vater, getragen hast und weil du in allem bedrängt warst, in dem mein Vater bedrängt war.'
