וְנָבִ֤יא אֶחָד֙ זָקֵ֔ן יֹשֵׁ֖ב בְּבֵֽית־אֵ֑ל וַיָּב֣וֹא בְנ֡וֹ וַיְסַפֶּר־ל֣וֹ אֶת־כָּל־הַמַּעֲשֶׂ֣ה אֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂה֩ אִישׁ־הָאֱלֹהִ֨ים ׀ הַיּ֜וֹם בְּבֵֽית־אֵ֗ל אֶת־הַדְּבָרִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר דִּבֶּ֣ר אֶל־הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וַֽיְסַפְּר֖וּם לַאֲבִיהֶֽם׃
Nun wohnte ein alter Prophet in Beth-el; und einer seiner Söhne kam und erzählte ihm alle Werke, die der Mann Gottes an diesem Tag in Bethel getan hatte, und die Worte, die er zum König gesprochen hatte, und sie sagten sie ihrem Vater.

Who lived in Beis Eil. But he was not from there, but he came from Shomron, and so it is stated in the section dealing with Yoshiyahu, “his bones with the bones of the prophet who had come from Shomron.”7II Melochim 23:18.
