רָעָ֞ב כִּֽי־יִהְיֶ֣ה בָאָ֗רֶץ דֶּ֣בֶר כִּֽי־יִֽ֠הְיֶה שִׁדָּפ֨וֹן וְיֵרָק֜וֹן אַרְבֶּ֤ה וְחָסִיל֙ כִּ֣י יִהְיֶ֔ה כִּ֧י יָֽצַר־ל֛וֹ אוֹיְבָ֖יו בְּאֶ֣רֶץ שְׁעָרָ֑יו כָּל־נֶ֖גַע וְכָֽל־מַחֲלָֽה׃
Wenn es im Land Hungersnot gibt, wenn es Pestilenz gibt, wenn es Sprengung oder Mehltau, Heuschrecke oder Raupe gibt; wenn ihre Feinde sie im Land ihrer Städte belagern; welche Pest oder welche Krankheit es auch gibt;

whatsoever plague, whatsoever sickness (there be) The meaning is: I have mentioned to You pestilence, blast and mildew, being struck down [in battle], and lack of rainfall, and what else can I include, but whatsoever plague, whatsoever sickness there may be, and he pray and spread forth his hands toward this House, and this is what it says.
