וְעָבְרָ֣ה הָעֲבָרָ֗ה לַֽעֲבִיר֙ אֶת־בֵּ֣ית הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וְלַעֲשׂ֥וֹת הַטּ֖וֹב בעינו [בְּעֵינָ֑יו] וְשִׁמְעִ֣י בֶן־גֵּרָ֗א נָפַל֙ לִפְנֵ֣י הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ בְּעָבְר֖וֹ בַּיַּרְדֵּֽן׃
Und die Fähre ging hin und her, um den König zu bringen's Haushalt, und zu tun, was er gut fand. Und Shimei, der Sohn Geras, fiel vor dem König nieder, als er über den Jordan ging.
