וַיֹּ֤אמֶר דָּוִד֙ אֶל־אֲבִישַׁ֔י עַתָּ֗ה יֵ֧רַֽע לָ֛נוּ שֶׁ֥בַע בֶּן־בִּכְרִ֖י מִן־אַבְשָׁל֑וֹם אַ֠תָּה קַ֞ח אֶת־עַבְדֵ֤י אֲדֹנֶ֙יךָ֙ וּרְדֹ֣ף אַחֲרָ֔יו פֶּן־מָ֥צָא ל֛וֹ עָרִ֥ים בְּצֻר֖וֹת וְהִצִּ֥יל עֵינֵֽנוּ׃
Und David sprach zu Abischai: 'Nun wird Saba, der Sohn Bichris, uns mehr Schaden zufügen als Absalom. Nimm deinen Herrn's Diener, und verfolgen Sie ihn, damit er ihn nicht befestigte Städte bekommt und aus unseren Augen entkommt.'
