וַיֹּ֨אמֶר שָׁא֤וּל אֶל־שְׁמוּאֵל֙ חָטָ֔אתִי כִּֽי־עָבַ֥רְתִּי אֶת־פִּֽי־יְהוָ֖ה וְאֶת־דְּבָרֶ֑יךָ כִּ֤י יָרֵ֙אתִי֙ אֶת־הָעָ֔ם וָאֶשְׁמַ֖ע בְּקוֹלָֽם׃
Und Saul sprach zu Samuel: 'Ich habe gesündigt; denn ich habe das Gebot des HERRN und deine Worte übertreten; weil ich die Menschen fürchtete und auf ihre Stimme hörte.
