וַיֹּ֧אמֶר דָּוִ֛ד אֶל־גָּ֖ד צַר־לִ֣י מְאֹ֑ד נִפְּלָה־נָּ֤א בְיַד־יְהוָה֙ כִּֽי־רַבִּ֣ים רחמו [רַֽחֲמָ֔יו] וּבְיַד־אָדָ֖ם אַל־אֶפֹּֽלָה׃
Und David sprach zu Gad: 'Ich bin in einer großen Notlage; Lasst uns jetzt in die Hand des HERRN fallen. denn seine Barmherzigkeit ist groß; und lass mich nicht in die Hand des Menschen fallen.'
