וַיְצַ֧ף אֶת־הַבַּ֛יִת אֶ֥בֶן יְקָרָ֖ה לְתִפְאָ֑רֶת וְהַזָּהָ֖ב זְהַ֥ב פַּרְוָֽיִם׃
And he garnished the house with precious stones for beauty; and the gold was gold of Parvaim.

And he overlaid the House with precious stone He set and inlaid precious stones in gold in the walls of the House for glory and for beauty.

Rashi on II Chronicles
and the gold that he refers to: “and he overlaid it with fine gold,” was of the gold of Parvaim. Parvaim is the name of a place, and our Sages explained that it resembles the blood of bulls in its high quality and its redness.
