Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, And men of strength to mingle strong drink;

to mix strong wine Heb. לִמְסֹךְ. To mix (לִמְזֹג) strong wine. Preparation [of the beverage] is called מֶסֶךְ.

Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, etc. They lose their reason through drunkenness.
