Tanakh for I Kings 18:1

וַיְהִי֙ יָמִ֣ים רַבִּ֔ים וּדְבַר־יְהוָ֗ה הָיָה֙ אֶל־אֵ֣לִיָּ֔הוּ בַּשָּׁנָ֥ה הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֖ית לֵאמֹ֑ר לֵ֚ךְ הֵרָאֵ֣ה אֶל־אַחְאָ֔ב וְאֶתְּנָ֥ה מָטָ֖ר עַל־פְּנֵ֥י הָאֲדָמָֽה׃

And it came to pass after many days, that the word of the LORD came to Elijah, in the third year, saying: ‘Go, show thyself unto Ahab, and I will send rain upon the land.’

I Kings

And Elijah, the Tishibite, from the dwellers of Gilad, said to Ahab, "As the Lord, God of Israel, lives, before whom I stood, there will not be rain or dew except according to my word." There was a word of God to him, saying: "Go from this, and turn yourself eastward, and hide yourself by the Brook of Crit that is on the banks of the Jordan.
