לַמִּצְעָ֕ר יָרְשׁ֖וּ עַם־קָדְשֶׁ֑ךָ צָרֵ֕ינוּ בּוֹסְס֖וּ מִקְדָּשֶֽׁךָ׃
Thy holy people they have well nigh driven out, Our adversaries have trodden down Thy sanctuary.

The people of Thy holiness have possessed Thy sanctuary but a little time, our adversaries have trodden it down.
