וַיִּכָּנַ֤ע יְחִזְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙ בְּגֹ֣בַהּ לִבּ֔וֹ ה֖וּא וְיֹשְׁבֵ֣י יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם וְלֹא־בָ֤א עֲלֵיהֶם֙ קֶ֣צֶף יְהוָ֔ה בִּימֵ֖י יְחִזְקִיָּֽהוּ׃
Empero Ezechîas, después de haberse engreído su corazón, se humilló, él y los moradores de Jerusalem; y no vino sobre ellos la ira de SEÑOR en los días de Ezechîas.
Rashi on II Chronicles
And Hezekiah became humbled when his heart was haughty as it is written there: “And Hezekiah said to Isaiah: [The word of the Lord that you have spoken is] good.” And when he became humble, the wrath did not come upon them in his days.
