כִּ֣י שַׂ֤מְתָּ מֵעִיר֙ לַגָּ֔ל קִרְיָ֥ה בְצוּרָ֖ה לְמַפֵּלָ֑ה אַרְמ֤וֹן זָרִים֙ מֵעִ֔יר לְעוֹלָ֖ם לֹ֥א יִבָּנֶֽה׃
Tu as fait de la ville un monceau de pierres, de la cité fortifiée un amas de ruines; la citadelle des barbares est rayée du nombre des villes, plus jamais elle ne sera rebâtie.
