פירוש על מלכים א 7:1

Shlomo built his [own] house in thirteen years. In work of the Most High he hurried,¹Shlomo built the Beis Hamikdosh in seven years as stated in 6:38 above. but in his own [work] he was slow; the text tells this to praise him.
