וַתָּבֹ֤א בַת־שֶׁ֙בַע֙ אֶל־הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ שְׁלֹמֹ֔ה לְדַבֶּר־ל֖וֹ עַל־אֲדֹנִיָּ֑הוּ וַיָּקָם֩ הַמֶּ֨לֶךְ לִקְרָאתָ֜הּ וַיִּשְׁתַּ֣חוּ לָ֗הּ וַיֵּ֙שֶׁב֙ עַל־כִּסְא֔וֹ וַיָּ֤שֶׂם כִּסֵּא֙ לְאֵ֣ם הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וַתֵּ֖שֶׁב לִֽימִינֽוֹ׃
Lalu Batsyeba datang kepada Raja Salomo untuk berbicara kepadanya demi kepentingan Adonia. Raja bangkit menyongsong dia dan sujud kepadanya, lalu duduk di atas takhtanya. Ia menyuruh orang menempatkan sebuah takhta bagi ibu raja, dan Batsyeba duduk di sebelah kanannya.
