וֶאֱלִישָׁ֣ע רֹאֶ֗ה וְה֤וּא מְצַעֵק֙ אָבִ֣י ׀ אָבִ֗י רֶ֤כֶב יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ וּפָ֣רָשָׁ֔יו וְלֹ֥א רָאָ֖הוּ ע֑וֹד וַֽיַּחֲזֵק֙ בִּבְגָדָ֔יו וַיִּקְרָעֵ֖ם לִשְׁנַ֥יִם קְרָעִֽים׃
Elisa melihatnya, lalu ia berseru, “Bapaku, bapaku! Kereta Israel dan pasukan berkudanya!” Kemudian ia tidak melihatnya lagi. Lalu ia memegang pakaiannya sendiri dan mengoyakkannya menjadi dua koyakan.
