וְדָוִ֡ד עֹלֶה֩ בְמַעֲלֵ֨ה הַזֵּיתִ֜ים עֹלֶ֣ה ׀ וּבוֹכֶ֗ה וְרֹ֥אשׁ לוֹ֙ חָפ֔וּי וְה֖וּא הֹלֵ֣ךְ יָחֵ֑ף וְכָל־הָעָ֣ם אֲשֶׁר־אִתּ֗וֹ חָפוּ֙ אִ֣ישׁ רֹאשׁ֔וֹ וְעָל֥וּ עָלֹ֖ה וּבָכֹֽה׃
Daud mendaki jalan naik ke Bukit Zaitun. Ia mendaki sambil menangis, kepalanya berselubung, dan ia berjalan tanpa alas kaki. Semua rakyat yang bersama dia juga menyelubungi kepala masing-masing, dan mereka terus mendaki sambil menangis.
