וְהַבַּ֤יִת הַזֶּה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הָיָ֣ה עֶלְי֔וֹן לְכָל־עֹבֵ֥ר עָלָ֖יו יִשֹּׁ֑ם וְאָמַ֗ר בַּמֶּ֨ה עָשָׂ֤ה יְהוָה֙ כָּ֔כָה לָאָ֥רֶץ הַזֹּ֖את וְלַבַּ֥יִת הַזֶּֽה׃
Bait ini, yang dahulu begitu agung, setiap orang yang melewatinya akan tercengang dan berkata: ‘Mengapa Yang Mahakekal berbuat demikian terhadap negeri ini dan terhadap Bait ini?’
