כָּל־אֵ֣לֶּה בְנֵי־אָ֠שֵׁר רָאשֵׁ֨י בֵית־הָאָב֤וֹת בְּרוּרִים֙ גִּבּוֹרֵ֣י חֲיָלִ֔ים רָאשֵׁ֖י הַנְּשִׂיאִ֑ים וְהִתְיַחְשָׂ֤ם בַּצָּבָא֙ בַּמִּלְחָמָ֔ה מִסְפָּרָ֣ם אֲנָשִׁ֔ים עֶשְׂרִ֥ים וְשִׁשָּׁ֖ה אָֽלֶף׃ (ס)
Mereka semua itulah keturunan Asyer, para kepala kaum keluarga, orang-orang pilihan, para pahlawan yang gagah perkasa, dan para pemimpin di antara para pemuka. Mereka yang tercatat dalam silsilah sebagai tentara untuk berperang berjumlah dua puluh enam ribu orang.
