וַיִּבֶן֩ שָׁ֨ם דָּוִ֤ד מִזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה וַיַּ֥עַל עֹל֖וֹת וּשְׁלָמִ֑ים וַיֵּעָתֵ֤ר יְהוָה֙ לָאָ֔רֶץ וַתֵּעָצַ֥ר הַמַּגֵּפָ֖ה מֵעַ֥ל יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
Lalu Daud mendirikan di sana sebuah mezbah bagi Yang Mahakekal dan mempersembahkan korban-korban bakaran dan korban-korban keselamatan. Maka Yang Mahakekal berkenan mengabulkan doa bagi negeri itu, dan tulah itu pun berhenti menimpa Israel.

And David built there an altar to the L-rd, and he offered up burnt-offerings and peace-offerings. And he called to the L-rd, and He answered him with fire from heaven on the altar of the burnt-offering.
