וְשֵׁ֤ם הָאִישׁ֙ נָבָ֔ל וְשֵׁ֥ם אִשְׁתּ֖וֹ אֲבִגָ֑יִל וְהָאִשָּׁ֤ה טֽוֹבַת־שֶׂ֙כֶל֙ וִ֣יפַת תֹּ֔אַר וְהָאִ֥ישׁ קָשֶׁ֛ה וְרַ֥ע מַעֲלָלִ֖ים וְה֥וּא כלבו [כָלִבִּֽי׃]
Nama orang itu Nabal, dan nama istrinya Abigail. Perempuan itu berakal budi dan cantik parasnya, tetapi laki-laki itu kasar dan jahat perbuatannya; ia berasal dari kaum Kaleb.
