וַיְהִ֞י כְּכַלֹּת֣וֹ ׀ לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת הָעֹלָ֗ה וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יֵ֠הוּא לָרָצִ֨ים וְלַשָּׁלִשִׁ֜ים בֹּ֤אוּ הַכּוּם֙ אִ֣ישׁ אַל־יֵצֵ֔א וַיַּכּ֖וּם לְפִי־חָ֑רֶב וַיַּשְׁלִ֗כוּ הָֽרָצִים֙ וְהַשָּׁ֣לִשִׁ֔ים וַיֵּלְכ֖וּ עַד־עִ֥יר בֵּית־הַבָּֽעַל׃
Setelah ia selesai mempersembahkan korban bakaran, Yehu berkata kepada para pengawal dan para perwira, “Masuklah dan bunuhlah mereka; jangan biarkan seorang pun keluar.” Maka mereka membunuh orang-orang itu dengan mata pedang, dan para pengawal serta para perwira itu melemparkan mayat-mayat mereka keluar, lalu pergi sampai ke kota kuil Baal.
I Samuel
The king then said to the runners who stood near him, "Surround and put to death the kohanim of Adonoy, because their hand is also with Dovid, for they knew that he was fleeing but did not reveal it to me." But the servants of the king did not want to stretch forth their hand to slay the kohanim of Adonoy.
