וַתִּבָּקַ֣ע הָעִ֗יר וְכָל־אַנְשֵׁ֨י הַמִּלְחָמָ֤ה ׀ הַלַּ֙יְלָה֙ דֶּ֜רֶךְ שַׁ֣עַר ׀ בֵּ֣ין הַחֹמֹתַ֗יִם אֲשֶׁר֙ עַל־גַּ֣ן הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וְכַשְׂדִּ֥ים עַל־הָעִ֖יר סָבִ֑יב וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ דֶּ֥רֶךְ הָעֲרָבָֽה׃

Lalu kota itu ditembus, dan semua prajurit melarikan diri pada malam itu melalui pintu gerbang di antara kedua tembok dekat taman raja, sementara orang Kasdim mengepung kota itu di sekelilingnya. Raja pun pergi melalui jalan menuju Araba.

Lamentations
