וַיְהִ֣י אַֽחֲרֵי־כֵ֗ן וַיִּשְׁאַל֩ דָּוִ֨ד בַּֽיהוָ֤ה ׀ לֵאמֹר֙ הַאֶעֱלֶ֗ה בְּאַחַת֙ עָרֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֔ה וַיֹּ֧אמֶר יְהוָ֛ה אֵלָ֖יו עֲלֵ֑ה וַיֹּ֧אמֶר דָּוִ֛ד אָ֥נָה אֶעֱלֶ֖ה וַיֹּ֥אמֶר חֶבְרֹֽנָה׃
Sesudah itu Daud bertanya kepada Yang Mahakekal: “Haruskah aku pergi ke salah satu kota di Yehuda?” Yang Mahakekal berfirman kepadanya: “Pergilah.” Daud bertanya lagi: “Ke manakah aku harus pergi?” Dia berfirman: “Ke Hebron.”
