כִּֽי־עָזְב֣וּ הַלְוִיִּ֗ם אֶת־מִגְרְשֵׁיהֶם֙ וַאֲחֻזָּתָ֔ם וַיֵּלְכ֥וּ לִיהוּדָ֖ה וְלִֽירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם כִּֽי־הִזְנִיחָ֤ם יָֽרָבְעָם֙ וּבָנָ֔יו מִכַּהֵ֖ן לַיהוָֽה׃
Poiché i leviti lasciarono la loro terra aperta e il loro possesso, e vennero a Giuda e Gerusalemme; poiché Geroboamo e i suoi figli li scacciarono, affinché non eseguissero il sacerdote's ufficio presso il Signore;
