בְּתִשְׁעָ֣ה לַחֹ֔דֶשׁ וַיֶּחֱזַ֥ק הָרָעָ֖ב בָּעִ֑יר וְלֹא־הָ֥יָה לֶ֖חֶם לְעַ֥ם הָאָֽרֶץ׃
Il nono giorno del [quarto] mese la carestia era dolorante in città, quindi non c'era pane per il popolo della terra.

On the ninth day of the [fourth] month the famine was sore in the city: It is not explained in which month, however in the book of Jeremiah it is explained that this was the fourth month on the ninth of the month. (Jeremiah 39:2)
