הֵ֣ן ׀ אֶ֣רֶץ כַּשְׂדִּ֗ים זֶ֤ה הָעָם֙ לֹ֣א הָיָ֔ה אַשּׁ֖וּר יְסָדָ֣הּ לְצִיִּ֑ים הֵקִ֣ימוּ בחיניו [בַחוּנָ֗יו] עֹרְרוּ֙ אַרְמְנוֹתֶ֔יהָ שָׂמָ֖הּ לְמַפֵּלָֽה׃
Ecco, la terra dei caldei—questa è la gente che non lo era, quando Asshur lo fondò per i navigatori—hanno installato le loro torri, hanno rovesciato i loro palazzi; è fatto una rovina.
