יָבֵ֤שׁ חָצִיר֙ נָ֣בֵֽל צִ֔יץ כִּ֛י ר֥וּחַ יְהוָ֖ה נָ֣שְׁבָה בּ֑וֹ אָכֵ֥ן חָצִ֖יר הָעָֽם׃
L'erba appassisce, il fiore svanisce; Perché il respiro dell'Eterno soffia su di esso— Sicuramente la gente è erba.
