Giosuè 16

וַיֵּצֵ֨א הַגּוֹרָ֜ל לִבְנֵ֤י יוֹסֵף֙ מִיַּרְדֵּ֣ן יְרִיח֔וֹ לְמֵ֥י יְרִיח֖וֹ מִזְרָ֑חָה הַמִּדְבָּ֗ר עֹלֶ֧ה מִירִיח֛וֹ בָּהָ֖ר בֵּֽית־אֵֽל׃

E la sorte per i figli di Giuseppe uscì dal Giordano a Gerico, alle acque di Gerico ad est, salendo da Gerico attraverso le colline fino al deserto, fino a Bethel.

וְיָצָ֥א מִבֵּֽית־אֵ֖ל ל֑וּזָה וְעָבַ֛ר אֶל־גְּב֥וּל הָאַרְכִּ֖י עֲטָרֽוֹת׃

E uscì da Beth-el-luz e passò fino al confine degli Architi ad Ataroth.

וְיָֽרַד־יָ֜מָּה אֶל־גְּב֣וּל הַיַּפְלֵטִ֗י עַ֣ד גְּב֧וּל בֵּית־חוֹרֹ֛ן תַּחְתּ֖וֹן וְעַד־גָּ֑זֶר וְהָי֥וּ תצאתו [תֹצְאֹתָ֖יו] יָֽמָּה׃

E scese verso ovest fino al confine dei Japhletites, fino al confine di Beth-Horon il Nether, fino a Gezer; e i suoi discorsi erano al mare.

וַיִּנְחֲל֥וּ בְנֵי־יוֹסֵ֖ף מְנַשֶּׁ֥ה וְאֶפְרָֽיִם׃

E i figli di Giuseppe, Manasse ed Efraim, presero la loro eredità.

וַיְהִ֛י גְּב֥וּל בְּנֵֽי־אֶפְרַ֖יִם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם וַיְהִ֞י גְּב֤וּל נַחֲלָתָם֙ מִזְרָ֔חָה עַטְר֣וֹת אַדָּ֔ר עַד־בֵּ֥ית חוֹרֹ֖ן עֶלְיֽוֹן׃

E il confine dei figli di Efraim secondo le loro famiglie era così; persino il confine della loro eredità verso est era Atroth-addar, per Beth-Horon la tomaia.

וְיָצָ֨א הַגְּב֜וּל הַיָּ֗מָּה הַֽמִּכְמְתָת֙ מִצָּפ֔וֹן וְנָסַ֧ב הַגְּב֛וּל מִזְרָ֖חָה תַּאֲנַ֣ת שִׁלֹ֑ה וְעָבַ֣ר אוֹת֔וֹ מִמִּזְרַ֖ח יָנֽוֹחָה׃

E il confine si estendeva verso ovest, con Mich-methath a nord; e il confine si volse verso est fino a Taanath-shiloh, e lo attraversò a est di Janoah.

וְיָרַ֥ד מִיָּנ֖וֹחָה עֲטָר֣וֹת וְנַעֲרָ֑תָה וּפָגַע֙ בִּֽירִיח֔וֹ וְיָצָ֖א הַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃

E scese da Janoah ad Ataroth, a Naarah, e raggiunse Gerico, e uscì al Giordano.

מִתַּפּ֜וּחַ יֵלֵ֨ךְ הַגְּב֥וּל יָ֙מָּה֙ נַ֣חַל קָנָ֔ה וְהָי֥וּ תֹצְאֹתָ֖יו הַיָּ֑מָּה זֹ֗את נַחֲלַ֛ת מַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵי־אֶפְרַ֖יִם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָֽם׃

Da Tappuah il confine andava verso ovest fino al ruscello di Kanah; e i suoi discorsi erano al mare. Questa è l'eredità della tribù dei figli di Efraim secondo le loro famiglie;

וְהֶעָרִ֗ים הַמִּבְדָּלוֹת֙ לִבְנֵ֣י אֶפְרַ֔יִם בְּת֖וֹךְ נַחֲלַ֣ת בְּנֵֽי־מְנַשֶּׁ֑ה כָּֽל־הֶעָרִ֖ים וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן׃

insieme alle città che furono separate per i figli di Efraim nel mezzo dell'eredità dei figli di Manasse, tutte le città con i loro villaggi.

וְלֹ֣א הוֹרִ֔ישׁוּ אֶת־הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֖י הַיּוֹשֵׁ֣ב בְּגָ֑זֶר וַיֵּ֨שֶׁב הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֜י בְּקֶ֤רֶב אֶפְרַ֙יִם֙ עַד־הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה וַיְהִ֖י לְמַס־עֹבֵֽד׃ (פ)

E non cacciarono i Cananei che abitavano a Gezer; ma i Cananei abitarono in mezzo a Efraim, fino ad oggi, e divennero servi per svolgere compiti.
