Chasydyzm do Przysłów 31:15

Wstaje póki noc jeszcze, i wydziela żywność dla domu swego, a zwykłe zatrudnienie służebnicom swoim.

Sefer HaMiddot

5. Through saying Tikkun Chatzot (midnight rectification) one is saved from thieves (t.n. The commentators do not provide any citations, it has been pointed out that on a practical basis one who is up in middle of the night reciting the prayers will be impeding any thief. A hint to this adage can also be found in Beraishis 31:14-16 where Rachel and Leah tell Yaakov that they want to escape intact with their money: Rachel and Leah are also the names of the two parts of the midnight rectification, thus we see that saying the midnight rectification is a way to safeguard one's money from thieves. A working concept as to why this is so: It says in holy books that at chatzot the Shekhina sends nourishment and bounty to the world, as it is written, Vatakom be`od lailah, vetiten teref leveitah vechot lena`aroteihah/She rises while it is yet night, and gives food to her household and a portion to her maidens (Prov. 31:15). And it also says in the holy books that it is the holy tzadikim that deliver the bounty from the higher spiritual worlds, safely into our world, for if the bounty would just descend on its own, the evil forces would hijack it. So when we say the midnight rectification we are facilitating the safe passage of the bounty into this world. Therefore one who says the midnight rectification will have protections from theft.).
