כֹּֽה־אָמַ֞ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֗ה בְּי֨וֹם רִדְתּ֤וֹ שְׁא֙וֹלָה֙ הֶאֱבַ֜לְתִּי כִּסֵּ֤תִי עָלָיו֙ אֶת־תְּה֔וֹם וָֽאֶמְנַע֙ נַהֲרוֹתֶ֔יהָ וַיִּכָּלְא֖וּ מַ֣יִם רַבִּ֑ים וָאַקְדִּ֤ר עָלָיו֙ לְבָנ֔וֹן וְכָל־עֲצֵ֥י הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה עָלָ֥יו עֻלְפֶּֽה׃
Tak rzecze Pan, Wiekuisty: Dnia, którego w przepaść zstąpił, kazałem żałobą nad nim się okryć toni, i zatrzymałem strumienie jej, że zatamowane zostały wody obfite, i zaćmiłem z powodu niego Liban, a wszystkie drzewa polne z powodu niego zanikły.
