Strącił w płonącym gniewie każdy róg Izraela, cofnął prawicę Swoję wobec wroga, i wzniecił w Jakóbie jakby łunę ognistą, która chłonęła dokoła.

“He cut down” [2:3]. He cut down the rulers of Israel with wrath. He put his right hand behind his back, not to help Israel and he lit a fire over Jacob and burned everything around him.

He withheld His right hand. He withdrew Himself as though withdrawing His right hand from waging war for his children.9His right hand is symbolic of strength and war. See Shemos 15:6.
