Zohar
R. Judah said: ‘In truth God does heed us and remember us, otherwise Israel would not be able to stand a single day in captivity, for so it is written, “And yet for all that when they be in the land of their enemies”, etc. (Lev. 26, 44). God does not requite us according to our deeds.’
Zohar Chadash
One day the sages were in the study hall asking and said, "The curses in the Book of Leviticus are apropos the First Temple. The curses in the Book of Deuteronomy are apropos the Second Temple and the final exile. The curses in the Book of Leviticus have within them accurance, and the love of the Holy Blessed One for Israel, as written (Lev. 26:44) 'And I will remember My covenant with Jacob' etc., and it is written, 'And even with all this when they are in the land of their enemies...' The curses in the Book of Deuteronomy do not have within them accurance , nor within them any comfort at all, as written in the former curses." And they did not know.

As in the words of King Solomon (Mishlei 6:23): "...and The Torah is a light" - literally light and not just wisdom nor analogous to light, literally light, as this it's reality above. So, when The Torah enters the soul, the light enters, as the ray of the sun enters a house. Furthermore, accurately analogous to The Torah is fire and as with a coal, the fire is contained within it and just needs a burst of oxygen to ignite the flame to expose it's many colors which were hidden prior.
