Wyjścia 19:13 Midrasz: Ein Yaakov (Glick Edition), Mekhilta DeRabbi Yishmael, Shemot Rabbah & Sifra

R. Nachman b. R. Chisda said to R. Nachman b. Isaac: "Let the master come and settle among us [so that we may study together]." We are taught in a Mishnah, answered the latter, "Not the place in which he lives distinguishes the man, but the man marks the place. And thus we find that with respect to Mount Sinai, as long as the Shechina rested there, the Torah admonishes (Ex. 34, 3) Neither let flocks or herds feed near the mount, but as soon the Shechina had withdrawn from the mount, it is said (Ex. 19, 13) They may come up to the mount. A similar instance can be found with respect to the Tabernacle, which was erected in the wilderness, that so long as the Tabernacle was pitched the Torah warned (Num. 5, 2)They send out of the camp every leper, etc. When the curtains [of the Tabernacle] were folded up immediately the lepers and Zab were allowed to enter the place." "If this be so," said R. Nachman b. R. Chisda "then I will go to the place where the master dwellest." Whereupon R. Nachman b. Isaac answered: "It is better that a Maneh son of a P'ras (half a Maneh), i.e., a distinguished son of a less distinguished father — should come to be a Maneh son of a Maneh, i.e., a distinguished son of a distinguished father, rather than the contrary."

Mekhilta DeRabbi Yishmael

(Ibid. 13) "No hand shall touch it": not (i.e., this does not apply to) Shiloh, not the tent of meeting, and not the Temple. "for stoned shall he be stoned": Whence is it to be derived that he is to be pushed down (from a high place)? From "cast down." And whence is it derived that if he died by being pushed down this satisfies the commandment? From "stoned shall he be stoned or cast down shall he be cast down." And whence is it derived that all stoning is thus satisfied? From (the redundant) "stoned shall he be stoned or cast down shall he be cast down." "beast": This tells me only of a beast. Whence do I derive the same for an animal? From "whether beast." Whence do I derive the same for a woman? From "whether man." "he shall not live":

Shemot Rabbah

“The Lord said to him: Who makes a man’s mouth?” He [God] said to him: ‘If you are not a man of words do not be concerned; haven’t I created all the mouths in the world, and I rendered mute whomever I wished, and [likewise determined who is] deaf and blind, and sighted and hearing? Had I wished for you to be a man of words, so would you be. Rather, I wish to perform a miracle with you. When you speak, your words will be exact,33Alternative translation: correct, fitting. as I will be with your mouth.’ That is what is written: “And I will be with your mouth.” What is “and teach you [vehoreitikha]”? Rabbi Abbahu said: I will shoot [moreh] My words into your mouth like an arrow, as it states: “Or will be shot [yaro yiyareh]” (Exodus 19:13). Rabbi Simon says: I will create you into a new being, as it is stated: “The woman conceived [vatahar] [and bore a son]” (Exodus 2:2).
