I uprowadził ztamtąd wszystkie skarby przybytku Wiekuistego i skarby pałacu królewskiego, i rozbił wszystkie naczynia złote, które sporządził Salomon, król izraelski, w przybytku Wiekuistego, jako zapowiedział Wiekuisty.

Ibn Ezra

[Daniel 1:2] Va-yiten (וַיִּתֵּן - And [the Lord] delivered): It is written: “and some of the vessels of the House of God.” [It says "some"] because it was during the exile of Jehoiachin that the precious vessels (k'lei chemdat - כְּלֵי חֶמְדַּת, cf. II Chronicles 36:10) of the House of the Lord were brought to Babylon. For thus it is written [regarding Jehoiachin's exile]: “and the treasures of the House of the Lord, and the treasures of the king's house” [II Kings 24:13].
