וַיֹּ֧אמֶר דָּוִ֛יד אֶל־גָּ֖ד צַר־לִ֣י מְאֹ֑ד אֶפְּלָה־נָּ֣א בְיַד־יְהוָ֗ה כִּֽי־רַבִּ֤ים רַחֲמָיו֙ מְאֹ֔ד וּבְיַד־אָדָ֖ם אַל־אֶפֹּֽל׃
I Dawid powiedział do Gada: 'Jestem w cieśninie; pozwólcie mi teraz wpaść w ręce Pana, bo bardzo wielkie są Jego miłosierdzie; i nie pozwól mi wpaść w ręce człowieka.'
II Samuel
Dovid said to Gad, "I am in great anguish. Let us fall into the hand of Adonoy because He has much compassion, [but] let me not fall into the hands of man."
