וַיֹּ֨אמֶר דָּוִ֜יד אֶל־אָרְנָ֗ן תְּנָה־לִּי֙ מְק֣וֹם הַגֹּ֔רֶן וְאֶבְנֶה־בּ֥וֹ מִזְבֵּ֖חַ לַיהוָ֑ה בְּכֶ֤סֶף מָלֵא֙ תְּנֵ֣הוּ לִ֔י וְתֵעָצַ֥ר הַמַּגֵּפָ֖ה מֵעַ֥ל הָעָֽם׃
Potem Dawid powiedział do Ornana: 'Dajcie mi miejsce omłotu, abym na nim zbudował ołtarz Panu; za całą cenę dasz mi ją; aby plaga została powstrzymana od ludzi.'
II Samuel
Aravnoh said, "Why is my master the king coming to his servant?" Dovid said, "To buy the threshing floor from you [in order] to build an altar to Adonoy [so that] the plague among the people should cease.
