וַתַּעֲלֶ֤ה הַמִּלְחָמָה֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֔וּא וְהַמֶּ֗לֶךְ הָיָ֧ה מָעֳמָ֛ד בַּמֶּרְכָּבָ֖ה נֹ֣כַח אֲרָ֑ם וַיָּ֣מָת בָּעֶ֔רֶב וַיִּ֥צֶק דַּֽם־הַמַּכָּ֖ה אֶל־חֵ֥יק הָרָֽכֶב׃
Ale bitwa wzmogła się tegoż dnia, a król zatrzymany został stojąco na wozie wobec Aramejczyków i zmarł wieczorem, krew zaś rany rozlała się do wnętrza wozu.

And the [intensity of the] war mounted on that day, and the king forced himself to stand in the chariot against Aram [(lest his army flee)], until the evening, and he died at the setting of the sun.
