וַיִּקְרָא֩ הַמֶּ֨לֶךְ יְהוֹאָ֜שׁ לִיהוֹיָדָ֤ע הַכֹּהֵן֙ וְלַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲלֵהֶ֔ם מַדּ֛וּעַ אֵינְכֶ֥ם מְחַזְּקִ֖ים אֶת־בֶּ֣דֶק הַבָּ֑יִת וְעַתָּ֗ה אַל־תִּקְחוּ־כֶ֙סֶף֙ מֵאֵ֣ת מַכָּֽרֵיכֶ֔ם כִּֽי־לְבֶ֥דֶק הַבַּ֖יִת תִּתְּנֻֽהוּ׃
Wezwał tedy król Joasz Jehojadę kapłana i innych kapłanów, i rzekł do nich: Czemu nie naprawiacie uszkodzeń przybytku? otóż odtąd nie pobierajcie pieniędzy od znajomych waszych, chyba gdybyście na naprawę uszkodzeń przybytku je oddawali.

And the king called to Yehoyada, the head, and said to him: Why did you not demand of the Levites to bring from Judah and from Jerusalem the levy of Moses, the servant of the L rd [viz. II Kings 12:5], and [what] the congregation of Israel [was wont to bring] for the tent of testimony?
