Królów I 12:21 Odniesienia do Talmudu: Megillah & Nedarim

A gdy przybył Rehabeam do Jerozolimy, zgromadził cały dom judzki i pokolenie Benjamina, sto ośmdziesiąt tysięcy doborowych, doświadczonych w boju, do walki przeciw domowi Izraela, aby przywrócić królestwo Rehabeamowi, synowi Salomona.

Megillah

It has been taught: R. Shimon b. Elazar says: If old men say to you, “tear down”, and boys say to you “build up,” tear down and do not build up, because destruction by old men is construction, and construction by boys is destruction; and the example is Rehoboam son of Solomon.

Nedarim

We learned that Rabbi Shimon ben Elazar said "If kids tell you to construct and the elderly tell you to destroy, listen to the elderly and not to the children For even when kids try to construct, they destroy. When the elderly destroy, it is still constructive. And an example of that (I Kings 12:21), Rohoboam son of Solomon.
