מַלְכֵ֣י צְ֭בָאוֹת יִדֹּד֣וּן יִדֹּד֑וּן וּנְוַת בַּ֝֗יִת תְּחַלֵּ֥ק שָׁלָֽל׃

Królowie zastępów pierzchają, pierzchają, a mieszkanka domu dzieli łupy.

Berakhot

Those who say it was against the will of the Egyptians, because it is written, "And she that tarrieth at home divideth the spoil" (Ps. Ixviii. 13). Those who say it was against the will of the Israelites, because of the burden.

Avot DeRabbi Natan, Recension B

13. Israel are called kings, and the ministering angels are kings. Israel—as it is said: "By Me kings reign" (Proverbs 8:15); and the ministering angels are called kings, as it is said: "The kings of hosts flee, they flee" (Psalms 68:13)—and you do not know which of the two is the more honored. When Scripture says: "And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests" (Exodus 19:6)—you, Israel, are more honored before Me than the ministering angels.

Avot DeRabbi Natan, Recension B

14. Israel are called hosts, and the ministering angels are called hosts. Israel—whence? As it is said: "For on this very day I brought out your hosts" (Exodus 12:17); and the ministering angels—whence? As it is said: "The kings of hosts flee" (Psalms 68:13)—and you do not know which of the two is the greater. When Scripture says: "And I will bring out My hosts, My people the children of Israel" (Exodus 7:4)—you, Israel, are greater before Me than the ministering angels.
