וְשֵׁ֤ם הָאִישׁ֙ נָבָ֔ל וְשֵׁ֥ם אִשְׁתּ֖וֹ אֲבִגָ֑יִל וְהָאִשָּׁ֤ה טֽוֹבַת־שֶׂ֙כֶל֙ וִ֣יפַת תֹּ֔אַר וְהָאִ֥ישׁ קָשֶׁ֛ה וְרַ֥ע מַעֲלָלִ֖ים וְה֥וּא כלבו [כָלִבִּֽי׃]
Imię męża tego Nabal, a imię żony jego Abigail. Była to kobieta wysoce roztropna i pięknej postawy, mąż przeciwnie nieużyty i niecnych postępków; był on zaś z rodu Kalebijczykiem.
