וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח דָּוִד֙ מַלְאָכִ֔ים אֶל־אִֽישׁ־בֹּ֥שֶׁת בֶּן־שָׁא֖וּל לֵאמֹ֑ר תְּנָ֤ה אֶת־אִשְׁתִּי֙ אֶת־מִיכַ֔ל אֲשֶׁר֙ אֵרַ֣שְׂתִּי לִ֔י בְּמֵאָ֖ה עָרְל֥וֹת פְּלִשְׁתִּֽים׃
Wyprawił zaś Dawid posłów do Isboseta, syna Saula, z żądaniem: Wydaj żonę moją, Michalę, którą pojąłem sobie za sto napletków filistyńskich.
I Samuel
Dovid rose and went, he and his men, and slew two hundred Philistine men. Dovid brought their foreskins and gave them all to the king so that he could become the king's son-in-law. Shaul gave him his daughter Michal as a wife.

And whichever man has betrothed a woman and not married her, let him go and return home, lest he die in battle and another man marry her.’’
