וַיָּבֹ֤א יְהוָה֙ וַיִּתְיַצַּ֔ב וַיִּקְרָ֥א כְפַֽעַם־בְּפַ֖עַם שְׁמוּאֵ֣ל ׀ שְׁמוּאֵ֑ל וַיֹּ֤אמֶר שְׁמוּאֵל֙ דַּבֵּ֔ר כִּ֥י שֹׁמֵ֖עַ עַבְדֶּֽךָ׃ (פ)
Depois veio o SENHOR, parou e chamou como das outras vezes: Samuel! Samuel! Ao que respondeu Samuel: Fala, porque o teu servo ouve.
Rashi on I Samuel
And Shmuel said, "Speak." He did not mention the Name of the Deity as Eili had commanded him, because he said [to himself], 'Perhaps it is another voice.'10See Maseches Shabbos 113b.
