יֵ֣שׁ אֶחָד֩ וְאֵ֨ין שֵׁנִ֜י גַּ֣ם בֵּ֧ן וָאָ֣ח אֵֽין־ל֗וֹ וְאֵ֥ין קֵץ֙ לְכָל־עֲמָל֔וֹ גַּם־עיניו [עֵינ֖וֹ] לֹא־תִשְׂבַּ֣ע עֹ֑שֶׁר וּלְמִ֣י ׀ אֲנִ֣י עָמֵ֗ל וּמְחַסֵּ֤ר אֶת־נַפְשִׁי֙ מִטּוֹבָ֔ה גַּם־זֶ֥ה הֶ֛בֶל וְעִנְיַ֥ן רָ֖ע הֽוּא׃
Один один, и у него нет второго; да, у него нет ни сына, ни брата; но нет конца всему его труду, и глаз его не удовлетворен богатством:'для кого же я работаю и душу свою радую?' Это также тщеславие, да, это тяжелое дело.
Orchot Tzadikim
And they were redeemed because of their faith, as it is written: "And the people believed" (Exod. 4:31). The Sages said of this verse, "Each one who takes upon himself one commandment with faith is worthy that the Holy Spirit shall dwell upon him." And the exiles are brought back through the merit of faith as it is said : "Look forth from the summit of Amanah (Faith)" (Eccl. 4:8). And it says further : "And I shall betroth thee to me with faith" (Hosea 2:22).
