וְאַבְשַׁ֣י אֲחִֽי־יוֹאָ֗ב ה֤וּא הָיָה֙ רֹ֣אשׁ הַשְּׁלוֹשָׁ֔ה וְהוּא֙ עוֹרֵ֣ר אֶת־חֲנִית֔וֹ עַל־שְׁלֹ֥שׁ מֵא֖וֹת חָלָ֑ל ולא־[וְלוֹ־] שֵׁ֖ם בַּשְּׁלוֹשָֽׁה׃
И был Авессай, брат Иоава, он был начальником трех; ибо он поднял свое копье против трехсот и убил их, и имел имя среди трех.

And Avishai, the brother of Yoav, the son of Tsruyoh was the leader of the three. He swung his spear and killed three hundred men. His name was best known of the three.

Of the three, he was most honored and was their leader but he did not reach [the status] of the first three.
