וַיַּ֣רְא כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל כִּ֠י לֹֽא־שָׁמַ֣ע הַמֶּלֶךְ֮ אֲלֵיהֶם֒ וַיָּשִׁ֣בוּ הָעָ֣ם אֶת־הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ דָּבָ֣ר ׀ לֵאמֹ֡ר מַה־לָּנוּ֩ חֵ֨לֶק בְּדָוִ֜ד וְלֹֽא־נַחֲלָ֣ה בְּבֶן־יִשַׁ֗י לְאֹהָלֶ֙יךָ֙ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל עַתָּ֕ה רְאֵ֥ה בֵיתְךָ֖ דָּוִ֑ד וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לְאֹהָלָֽיו׃
И когда весь Израиль увидел, что царь не послушал их, народ сказал царю: 'Какую часть мы имеем в Давиде? мы не имеем наследства в сыне Иессея; в шатры твои, Израиль; теперь позаботься о своем доме, Давид.' И отправился Израиль в свои шатры.
II Chronicles
And all of Israel saw that the king had not heeded them, and the people returned word to the king, saying: What portion do we have in David? Nor (do we have) an inheritance in the son of Yishai. To your tents, Israel! Now, see your house, David [i.e., the Temple that you built will be yours alone!] And Israel went to their tents.
