וַיִּקְרָא֩ הַמֶּ֨לֶךְ יְהוֹאָ֜שׁ לִיהוֹיָדָ֤ע הַכֹּהֵן֙ וְלַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲלֵהֶ֔ם מַדּ֛וּעַ אֵינְכֶ֥ם מְחַזְּקִ֖ים אֶת־בֶּ֣דֶק הַבָּ֑יִת וְעַתָּ֗ה אַל־תִּקְחוּ־כֶ֙סֶף֙ מֵאֵ֣ת מַכָּֽרֵיכֶ֔ם כִּֽי־לְבֶ֥דֶק הַבַּ֖יִת תִּתְּנֻֽהוּ׃
И призвал царь Иоас для священника Иодая и других священников и сказал им: 'Почему вы не ремонтируете нарушения дома? итак, не бери больше денег у тех, кто дарует их тебе, а доставляй их за осквернения дома.'

And the king called to Yehoyada, the head, and said to him: Why did you not demand of the Levites to bring from Judah and from Jerusalem the levy of Moses, the servant of the L rd [viz. II Kings 12:5], and [what] the congregation of Israel [was wont to bring] for the tent of testimony?
