וָאֶהְיֶ֣ה עִמְּךָ֗ בְּכֹל֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הָלַ֔כְתָּ וָאַכְרִ֥תָה אֶת־כָּל־אֹיְבֶ֖יךָ מִפָּנֶ֑יךָ וְעָשִׂ֤תִֽי לְךָ֙ שֵׁ֣ם גָּד֔וֹל כְּשֵׁ֥ם הַגְּדֹלִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר בָּאָֽרֶץ׃
И я был с тобою, куда бы ты ни пошел, и истребил всех врагов твоих пред тобою; и сделаю тебе великое имя, как имя великих на земле.
I Chronicles
And I was with you wherever you went, and I cut off all your foes before you, [(wherefore [as per Deuteronomy 12:10] it entered your mind to build Me a temple)], and I made you a [great] name [i.e., "the Shield of David"], like the name of the great ones in the land [i.e., "the Shield of Avraham"].
